Hunt Master Galarra Carbon Fibre Open Head Speargun

Literally translated as FISH HARPOON in Ancient Aboriginal Dharawal Language, the ‘GALARRA’ Carbon Speargun is Huntmaster’s modern version of one of the most primitive and traditional weapons known to mankind.

With the arrival of higher technologies, stronger materials, and more comprehensive production methods we have created a power-assisted harpoon that’s not only deadly accurate but also powerful, super simple to use and extremely reliable.

Precision: With a full-length rail that runs directly from the full-line mechanism all the way along the handle, carbon barrel and head. No more unsightly joints between the handle and barrel or the barrel and head - allowing the spear to travel unimpeded from start to finish.

The simple open head is designed to be used by either left- or right-handers and can hold up to 3 x 16mm bands. The integrated, recessed line guides make for a quick and simple loading experience putting you back in action and onto your target as quickly as possible.

Great Looks: The Hunt Master GALARRA Carbon spearguns have taken the harpoon to the next level, featuring a gorgeous gloss/matte finish that sits on 3K twill carbon.  The carbon-fibre barrels are thicker and stronger than our conventional aluminium barrels, offering an incredibly reliable speargun that can be quite literally 'powered to the max,' taking multiple 18mm bands with ease - and these workhorses will last for years to come.

Speargun Handle: The GALARRA speargun features a custom handle designed by the Hunt Master team to suit a number of configurations, rollers, pulleys and conventional spearguns.

The integrated hook and mounting points make loading, unloading and taking pre-tension off your rubbers a breeze. The integrated hook can also be used for future inverted roller conversions, this saves unnecessary and nasty drilling into barrels and handles causing issues in the long run.

These handles offer everything from a positive safety [that cannot be turned on accidentally], to an integrated GoPro bracket, from an ambidextrous line retainer and soft rubber grip to 100% stainless steel trigger mechanism with no plastic parts, we even include a Shark/Tuna clip on the handle, so you really are ready to go!

Power: Every speargun in the GALARRA carbon fibre speargun range uses premium-grade ‘Attack Microbore' rubbers with a smaller internal diameter, only 1mm, to power the shaft. The reverse mechanism and the rearward positioning on the shark fins adds an extra 10cm band stretch - and more band stretch means more power. A 100cm Huntmaster gun has a 110cm band stretch.

Shafts: Each GALARRA speargun comes equipped with a GEN 2, 7.5mm 'bronze' shaft as standard [see the website for full technical specs.] Hunt Master ALSO has a special offer for customers whereby you can choose either the GEN 2 shaft to match the length of your speargun, or also select 2 x GEN 1, 'silver' shafts of your choice.
