GULL MANTIS LV Dive Mask

Refined Styling, Low Volume and an Exceptional Field of View

The GULL MANTIS LV combines the heritage of the iconic MANTIS with a refined low-volume design engineered for excellent visibility, comfort and performance.

Designed for both scuba diving and skin diving, the MANTIS LV features an exclusive twin-lens shape, reduced internal volume and optimised lens inclination. Together, these features bring the lenses closer to the eyes and extend the field of view both vertically and horizontally.

With a mask volume of just 110cc, the MANTIS LV provides a particularly useful downward field of vision, making it easier to see equipment and perform common diving tasks around chest level.

The mask is equipped with GULL's UV420 CUT AR Amber Lenses, combining UV and HEV light protection with an anti-reflective coating and an amber tint designed to increase underwater contrast.

UV420 CUT AR Amber Lens

The MANTIS LV features GULL's UV420 CUT AR lens technology, designed to reduce transmission of ultraviolet light up to 400nm and HEV (High Energy Visible) light between 400–420nm.

These wavelengths can contribute to oxidative stress and deterioration of lutein, a naturally occurring pigment in the retina that plays an important role in protecting the eye from potentially harmful light.

The amber lens tint also increases visual contrast, helping edges and objects appear more defined underwater, particularly in environments where visibility and available light are reduced.

Although the lenses have a light amber/yellow tint, the reflective coating can cause them to appear blue when viewed from certain angles or in photographs.

AR Anti-Reflection Coating

Conventional lenses can reflect a portion of incoming light, reducing the amount of light reaching the diver's eyes.

GULL's UV420 CUT AR lenses feature a single-side anti-reflective coating, providing approximately 95% light transmittance, compared with approximately 92% for conventional lenses.

The result is a clearer and brighter field of vision that more closely resembles natural eyesight.

Reduced reflection also makes the diver's eyes easier to see through the mask, which can assist with eye contact and non-verbal communication underwater.

Amber Lens for Enhanced Contrast

The amber colouring of the UV420 CUT AR lens is designed to increase contrast rather than simply increase overall brightness.

Similar to the way orange lighting can make edges and shadows more distinguishable, the amber lens enhances contrast to help underwater objects appear more clearly defined.

This can be particularly useful when diving in conditions where subtle differences in shape and contrast are important.

Super Clear Lens

GULL's Super Clear Lens is manufactured to maximise light transmission by rigorously reducing impurities within the glass.

This provides greater optical clarity than standard glass and allows underwater objects to be viewed with improved definition.

When combined with a clear silicone skirt, internal reflections from the skirt onto the lens are also minimised, contributing to an even cleaner field of vision.

Low-Volume Twin-Lens Design

The MANTIS LV retains the distinctive form of the original MANTIS while reducing the mask's internal volume.

Positioning the lenses closer to the eyes helps increase the diver's field of view while also reducing the amount of air required to equalise the mask.

The combination of the exclusive lens shape and optimised inclination angle extends visibility both horizontally and vertically.

Extended Downward Field of View

The inclination and shape of the MANTIS LV lenses work together to improve downward visibility.

This provides a clearer view towards chest level, where many diving tasks take place, including checking and operating equipment.

The enhanced downward field of vision is particularly useful when accessing BCD controls, gauges, clips and other equipment without excessive head movement.

Skirt with Curled Lip and Integrated Strap Clip

The MANTIS LV features an all-in-one skirt design incorporating a curled lip and integrated strap clip.

The skirt is designed to maintain firm yet gentle contact with the face. As the mask strap is tensioned, the skirt forms an effective seal while helping reduce excessive pressure and impressions on the skin.

This construction contributes to both comfort and stability during extended dives.

Soft Damper

Masks designed to maximise downward visibility can place additional pressure around the cheekbones due to the shape and angle of the frame.

GULL's Soft Damper helps absorb and distribute this pressure, reducing stress around the cheek area and improving comfort during longer periods of use.

Drain Skirt

The integrated Drain Skirt is designed to improve water expulsion during mask clearing.

Its shape helps direct trapped water towards the lower section of the mask, making clearance easier while reducing the tendency for water to pool inside the skirt.

DX Spec Mask Buckle

The DX Spec Mask Buckle provides precise strap adjustment while the mask is being worn.

Its release mechanism and fine-pitch adjustment system allow the diver to achieve a comfortable and secure fit with minimal effort.

The buckle is designed for convenient one-handed operation, including when wearing thick diving gloves.

International Shipping

For all offshore islands and international orders, a member of staff will contact you with a delivery estimate including International freight charges. Please contact customs or your local postal service as your order may be delayed for inspection or duties/taxes may apply which are not paid for by Infinity Dive. This is applicable to all international shipping methods.

Duties and Taxes

International purchases are sold free of Australian GST. However, depending on which country the items will be dispatched to, there may be additional taxes or import duties imposed at the receivers end. Infinity Dive is not liable for these charges and it is up to the customer to liaise with the Customs regarding their delivery.

We will get in touch with you if the product was out of stock.

If the product was out of stock in the entire Australia, the delivery time may over 2 months.

Cancellation Policy

Order cancellation

We move fast to get our orders packed and dispatched as fast as possible. If your order hasn't already been dispatched, we should be able to cancel your order.

Please note that some orders may not be able to be changed or cancelled once the order has been accepted by infinitydive.
If you need to cancel an online order that has not yet been shipped, please contact us.
No order shall be binding until it is accepted by InfinityDive. An individual contract for the supply of Products, on these policies, is formed on acceptance by InfinityDive of an order from the Customer.
InfinityDive reserves the right to accept any order in whole or in part. Where we makes a part delivery of any order, such delivery shall constitute a separate contract. No order may be cancelled or varied after acceptance by InfinityDive.

In-store pickup policy

In Store Pick up orders will be available for collection in store for a period of 1 month if the product is in stock; if the order isn’t collected by this point, $10/day storage fees may apply unless a prior arrangement is made with InfinityDive.

Trip / Event cancellation policy

No refund for cancel request made less than 24 hours.

Courses cancellation policy

1. There will be a payment deadline announcement to all participants, no late fee will be accepted.
2. If you cancel or transfer your course due to personal reasons, you need to pay an administration fee starting from $98, which will incur within the paid fee.
3. If the new course is of a higher value than the original booking, the difference must also be paid. No exceptions.
4. If special circumstances or ocean conditions cause the necessary cancel on activities of the day, our students or participants who paid will get the fee convey into credit point. No direct cash return.
5. If any paid fees are cancelled after 14 days due to personal reasons, the full payment will be converted into company credit points. If cancelled 7 days before departure, fee will refund by 50% deducting from the conversion payment company credit points. If the payment is made within seven days before departure, there will be no refund.
6. Before payment for any activity or course, the company reserves the right to change the price, and participants must take the initiative to confirm the relevant changes.
7. If an emergency medical condition manifests within 24hrs of your course start time, proof must be provided in order to transfer your course at a reduced rate depending on the case.
8. If you have indicated yes to any of the questions on our dive conditional from, then one will need to be provided at the time of booking or 14 days prior to the course start date. Once you are fit to dive unconditionally, cancellation procedure will apply the above conditions. Failure to do so will result in forfeit of the course and rebooking will be at full cost.
Special Conditions

Special circumstances will deal in case-by-case manner as such medical conditions, verbal instructions, unconditional payment, etc.

Credit points

The credit points of the company after the refund can be purchased for any consumption within the company, and it will take effect forever indefinitely.
