  • Age and Certification Requirements: Minimum age of 18, holding an SDI Advanced Adventure Diver certification or equivalent, with proven experience in essential diving specialties.
  • Rescue Diver Qualification: A prerequisite is the SDI Rescue Diver certification or its equivalent, ensuring a solid foundation in diver safety and rescue operations.
  • Health and Safety Credentials: Current CPR, first aid, and oxygen provider certifications are required, demonstrating comprehensive emergency preparedness.

Who this course is for:

  • The advanced diver interested in working in the dive industry as a professional dive guide or moving on to become an instructor

Course prerequisites:

  • Minimum age 18
  • Certified SDI Advanced Adventure Diver or equivalent; advanced certification must include verifiable experience in deep, navigation, night, and limited visibility specialties
  • Certified SDI Rescue Diver or equivalent
  • Provide proof of current CPR, first aid and oxygen provider (where local law permits)*
  • Provided proof of at least 40 logged dives (see 3.11 for number of dives/hours required for graduation)

* Note: CPR, first aid, and oxygen provider courses may be combined with the IDC Program by qualified instructors

Some of the required skills you will have to demonstrate include:

  • 800 metre swim with mask, snorkel, and fins non-stop without the use of arms in less than 17 minutes
  • 400 metre swim on the surface, non-stop, any stroke, without the use of swimming aids, in less than 10 minutes; swim goggles permitted
  • Scuba skills – minimum equipment: all equipment required for a SDI Dive Leader
    • In water, transport another diver in full scuba equipment at a quick pace for 4 minutes
    • Demonstrate a complete rescue scenario satisfactorily
    • Perform underwater skills with and without a mask
    • Swim on the surface, in full scuba equipment, using the snorkel, 100 metres
  • Bring a diver, simulating unconsciousness, up from depth, not greater than 6 metres/20 feet; at the surface swim them 100 metres in less than 4 minutes
  • Confined water skills:
    • Preparation and planning
    • Briefing and debriefing
    • Group control
    • Problem recognition and solving
    • Diving equipment assembly and disassembly

    • Proper weighting and buoyancy control

What’s in it for you?

Upon successful completion of this course, graduates may:

  • Assist an active SDI Instructor during approved diving courses, provided the activities are similar to the graduate’s prior training
  • Supervise and conduct dives for certified divers, provided the activities are similar to the graduate’s prior experience and training

SDI Divemaster Diver minimum requirements:

  • Age: Minimum 18 years old. 
  • SDI Advanced Adventure Diver or equivalent, including verified experience in deep, navigation, night, and limited visibility dives. 
  • SDI Rescue Diver or equivalent. 
  • Current CPR, first aid, and oxygen provider certifications. 
  • Minimum of 40 logged dives.
  • Satisfactorily complete the SDI Divemaster written examination or online version with a minimum score of 80% and 100% remediation. 
  • Demonstrate to an active SDI Instructor the ability to solve in-water and out-of-water diver problems. 
  • Demonstrate mature and sound judgment concerning dive planning and execution. 
  • Water Requirements: Complete all water requirements as part of the Divemaster course. 
  • Dive Log: Must have a dive log book with all logged dives, including a minimum of 30 dives in a variety of environments. 

     

    The valid period of any course is 6 months (after the payment is made). The course time is very flexible. You can obtain an internationally recognized diver certificate and become a qualified ADVANCED ADVENTURES diver!

    Course Policy

    1. There will be a payment deadline announcement to all participants, no late fee will be accepted.
    2. The difference must also be paid if the new course is of a higher value than the original booking. No exceptions.
    3. If special circumstances or ocean conditions cause the necessary cancellation on the day's activities, our students or participants who paid will get the fee conveyed into credit points. No direct cash return.
    4. If you are unable to attend for personal reasons, this is non-refundable.
    5. Before payment for any activity or course, the company reserves the right to change the price, and participants must take the initiative to confirm the relevant changes.
    6. For any reason, cancellation or postponement of all courses is acceptable unless written notice is provided seven days before the pre-arranged diving course training day; otherwise, the funds shall be forfeited.  Please note that the postponement must be made within three calendar months, otherwise, you will be deprived.
    7. Cancellation due to medical reasons is only accepted in written or verbal notice 48 hours before the pre-arranged diving course training day.  A subsequent medical certificate must be provided.  However, we only accept the postponement to be rearranged within three calendar months; otherwise, the fund shall be forfeited.
    8. All diving course refunds shall only be honoured after the deduction of the e-learning fee, and shall be processed within seven days after bank information is provided.

    Special circumstances will be dealt with in a case-by-case manner, such as medical conditions, verbal instructions, unconditional payment, etc


    Cancellation Policy

    Order cancellation
    We move fast to get our orders packed and dispatched as fast as possible. If your order hasn't already been dispatched, we should be able to cancel your order.
    • Please note that some orders may not be able to be changed or cancelled once the order has been accepted by infinitydive.
    • If you need to cancel an online order that has not yet been shipped, please contact us.
    • No order shall be binding until it is accepted by InfinityDive. An individual contract for the supply of Products, on these policies, is formed on acceptance by InfinityDive of an order from the Customer.
    • InfinityDive reserves the right to accept any order in whole or in part. Where we makes a part delivery of any order, such delivery shall constitute a separate contract. No order may be cancelled or varied after acceptance by InfinityDive.

    In-store pickup policy

    In Store Pick up orders will be available for collection in store for a period of 1 month if the product is in stock;  if the order isn’t collected by this point, $10/day storage fees may apply unless a prior arrangement is made with InfinityDive.
    Trip / Event cancellation policy
     
    No refund for cancel request made less than 24 hours.
        Courses cancellation policy
          1. There will be a payment deadline announcement to all participants, no late fee will be accepted.
          2. If you cancel or transfer your course due to personal reasons, you need to pay an administration fee starting from $98, which will incur within the paid fee.
          3. If the new course is of a higher value than the original booking, the difference must also be paid. No exceptions.
          4. If special circumstances or ocean conditions cause the necessary cancel on activities of the day, our students or participants who paid will get the fee convey into credit point. No direct cash return.
          5. If any paid fees are cancelled after 14 days due to personal reasons, the full payment will be converted into company credit points. If cancelled 7 days before departure, fee will refund by 50% deducting from the conversion payment company credit points. If the payment is made within seven days before departure, there will be no refund.
          6. Before payment for any activity or course, the company reserves the right to change the price, and participants must take the initiative to confirm the relevant changes.
          7. If an emergency medical condition manifests within 24hrs of your course start time, proof must be provided in order to transfer your course at a reduced rate depending on the case.
          8. If you have indicated yes to any of the questions on our dive conditional from, then one will need to be provided at the time of booking or 14 days prior to the course start date. Once you are fit to dive unconditionally, cancellation procedure will apply the above conditions. Failure to do so will result in forfeit of the course and rebooking will be at full cost.

          Credit points

          The credit points of the company after the refund can be purchased for any consumption within the company, and it will take effect forever indefinitely.
