The Super Mew is constructed using Gull’s exclusive hybrid rubber technology, combining different flexible and stiff rubber compounds throughout the foot pocket, blade, and ribs. Key Features

Hybrid Rubber Construction
Gull combines different pliant and resilient rubber compounds across the foot pocket, blade, and ribs. This allows each section of the fin to perform a specific function while working together to produce smooth and powerful propulsion.

Responsive Midsize Blade
The midsize blade provides quick response to the diver’s kick. Its design balances power, control, and manoeuvrability, making the Super Mew suitable for divers who want strong propulsion without an excessively long blade.

3D Foot Pocket
The specially designed 3D pocket opening firmly hugs the Achilles tendon, helping reduce looseness and unwanted movement. The foot pocket holds the foot securely in a similar way to a sports shoe, improving fit and helping transfer kicking energy more efficiently into the blade.

Ribs Designed to Firmly Catch the Water
The ribs are designed with the same height on both the upper and lower sides of the blade, significantly improving rebound performance.

This construction provides a secure and efficient catch through the kick cycle while helping reduce side planing and blade twist. The balanced blade response allows the diver to generate effective propulsion during both the down kick and up kick.

V Blade Tip
The end of the blade incorporates a V-shaped tip designed to allow water to escape smoothly. This assists the blade in recovering and rebounding quickly after each kick, allowing the diver to maintain an efficient and consistent kicking rhythm throughout the dive.

Side-Slip Stoppers
The Super Mew incorporates the same style of wraparound tread found on Gull Barracuda fins. The tread provides improved grip when walking across slippery boat decks, rocky shore entries, and other surfaces where secure footing is important.

Easy Turn-Up Heel
The softer heel section can simply be flipped down when putting the fins on and returned into position once the foot is inserted. The design makes the fins easier to put on and remove, including when wearing thicker gloves.

Hybrid Rubber Performance

One of the key technologies behind the Gull Super Mew is the use of multiple rubber compounds rather than relying on a single material throughout the entire fin.

Each rubber compound is selected according to the performance required from that particular section of the fin.

Pliant Rubber – Foot Pocket

A softer, more pliant rubber is used around the foot pocket to improve comfort and make the fins easier to put on and remove.

Despite the softer construction, the pocket is designed to maintain a secure fit around the foot, helping minimise unnecessary movement and improving energy transfer during finning.

Stiff Rubber A – Structural Ribs

A harder rubber compound is used for the ribs to provide structural strength and support.

The increased stiffness helps control blade deformation and enhances the rebound elasticity of the fin during each kick cycle. This allows energy stored during blade flex to be efficiently released as the blade returns to its original position.

Stiff Rubber B – Blade

The blade uses a rubber compound that is slightly softer than the material used in the ribs, while remaining firmer than the rubber used for the foot pocket.

This balance gives the blade enough stiffness to push a large volume of water while retaining the flexibility necessary for smooth, controlled movement.

Efficient Water Control

The Super Mew blade, ribs, and V-shaped tip work together to manage water throughout the complete kick cycle.

The pronounced ribs help the blade firmly catch the water, while the balanced upper and lower rib structure improves rebound performance and helps reduce unwanted blade twisting or sideways movement.

At the end of the blade, the V-shaped tip allows water to escape smoothly, helping the blade recover quickly in preparation for the next kick.

This combination provides a balanced and powerful kick on both the downward and upward stroke, allowing divers to maintain efficient propulsion throughout the dive.

Secure Fit and Efficient Power Transfer

The 3D foot pocket is shaped to closely support the foot and Achilles tendon, reducing looseness between the diver’s foot and the fin.

A more secure fit means less kicking energy is lost through unnecessary movement inside the foot pocket. Instead, the diver’s kicking force can be transferred more directly through the ribs and blade to generate propulsion.

Combined with Gull’s hybrid rubber construction, this makes the Super Mew particularly suitable for divers who prefer a responsive fin with direct feedback and strong power transmission.

Grip and Practical Entry Features

International Shipping

For all offshore islands and international orders, a member of staff will contact you with a delivery estimate including International freight charges. Please contact customs or your local postal service as your order may be delayed for inspection or duties/taxes may apply which are not paid for by Infinity Dive. This is applicable to all international shipping methods.

Duties and Taxes

International purchases are sold free of Australian GST. However, depending on which country the items will be dispatched to, there may be additional taxes or import duties imposed at the receivers end. Infinity Dive is not liable for these charges and it is up to the customer to liaise with the Customs regarding their delivery.

Out Of Stock Policy

We will get in touch with you if the product was out of stock.

If the product was out of stock in the entire Australia, the delivery time may over 2 months.

Its depends on the ETA provided by the Brand Agent.

Cancellation Policy

Order cancellation

We move fast to get our orders packed and dispatched as fast as possible. If your order hasn't already been dispatched, we should be able to cancel your order.

Please note that some orders may not be able to be changed or cancelled once the order has been accepted by infinitydive.
If you need to cancel an online order that has not yet been shipped, please contact us.
No order shall be binding until it is accepted by InfinityDive. An individual contract for the supply of Products, on these policies, is formed on acceptance by InfinityDive of an order from the Customer.
InfinityDive reserves the right to accept any order in whole or in part. Where we makes a part delivery of any order, such delivery shall constitute a separate contract. No order may be cancelled or varied after acceptance by InfinityDive.

In-store pickup policy

In Store Pick up orders will be available for collection in store for a period of 1 month if the product is in stock; if the order isn’t collected by this point, $10/day storage fees may apply unless a prior arrangement is made with InfinityDive.

Trip / Event cancellation policy

No refund for cancel request made less than 24 hours.

Courses cancellation policy

1. There will be a payment deadline announcement to all participants, no late fee will be accepted.
2. If you cancel or transfer your course due to personal reasons, you need to pay an administration fee starting from $98, which will incur within the paid fee.
3. If the new course is of a higher value than the original booking, the difference must also be paid. No exceptions.
4. If special circumstances or ocean conditions cause the necessary cancel on activities of the day, our students or participants who paid will get the fee convey into credit point. No direct cash return.
5. If any paid fees are cancelled after 14 days due to personal reasons, the full payment will be converted into company credit points. If cancelled 7 days before departure, fee will refund by 50% deducting from the conversion payment company credit points. If the payment is made within seven days before departure, there will be no refund.
6. Before payment for any activity or course, the company reserves the right to change the price, and participants must take the initiative to confirm the relevant changes.
7. If an emergency medical condition manifests within 24hrs of your course start time, proof must be provided in order to transfer your course at a reduced rate depending on the case.
8. If you have indicated yes to any of the questions on our dive conditional from, then one will need to be provided at the time of booking or 14 days prior to the course start date. Once you are fit to dive unconditionally, cancellation procedure will apply the above conditions. Failure to do so will result in forfeit of the course and rebooking will be at full cost.
Special Conditions

Special circumstances will deal in case-by-case manner as such medical conditions, verbal instructions, unconditional payment, etc.

Credit points

The credit points of the company after the refund can be purchased for any consumption within the company, and it will take effect forever indefinitely.
